The film is directed by Alexander Payne, an experienced and talented director. The film is shot in a naturalistic style that focuses on the characters and their relationships. The film's cast is excellent, with Paul Giamatti, Dominic Sessa, and Da'Vine Joy Randolph giving memorable performances.
In conclusion, "The Holdovers" is a heartwarming film that offers a unique perspective on Christmas.
